ART/ RE week 2023
In our ART/ RE week the children have made their own representation of the Understanding Christianity Big Frieze. The children have had a wonderful week looking at the big frieze and discssing it in detail in their classes. We have been blown away with both the in-depth discussion and the art work produced.

Year 5 Visit to a Synagogue
The Ambassador group from StaincliffeJuniors visited our school to support the children in Year 1 and 2 with their new RE topic 'Who is a Muslim and what do they believe?' This was such a special day where the children gained such a richness of information and knowldege. The children in both classes asked some fantastic questions to deeper their understanding.
After a busy morning being the experts, the children then had a chance to play games with Year 5 during indoor lunch, meet the school chickens and spend time with Reception class. What a wonderful day!!!!!
